The University of Basrah, through the College of Education/Al-Qurna, organized the activities of Global Entrepreneurship Week, with the participation of a distinguished group of entrepreneurs across various fields. This comes as part of its ongoing efforts to support a culture of innovation and foster the spirit of initiative among students and youth.
The event featured a presentation of several entrepreneurial projects spanning various sectors, including education, modern technology, health and life sciences, arts and creativity, environmental and developmental projects, and traditional crafts and handicrafts.
The activities aimed to encourage students to transform their creative ideas into realistic and applicable projects, develop their leadership and freelance skills, and support youth talents by linking them to labor market requirements. This contributes to promoting sustainable development and serving the community.
These activities are part of the College of Education/Al-Qurna’s commitment to establishing the concepts of entrepreneurship and innovation, and providing a stimulating university environment that helps prepare a conscious generation capable of creating opportunities and achieving success.
