The College of Education / Al-Qurna at the University of Basrah organized a training course on the basics of computer use, targeting the college's staff members and held in the central hall.

The course aimed to develop the participants' practical skills and enable them to keep pace with developments in the field of computers and electronic applications, thereby contributing to enhancing their efficiency and supporting the academic and practical process.

The course—lectured by Mr. Hamid Abdul-Razzaq, Assistant Professor Dr. Ammar Abdul-Jabbar, and Assistant Lecturer Muslim Aqeel—included several scientific axes over a period of five days. These covered an introduction to the Windows 11 operating system, file management, computer hardware and software components, in addition to introducing key application programs and how to use them, such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint in preparing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.

The course also addressed the use of e-mail, data protection methods, and mechanisms for employing artificial intelligence applications in the work environment, which enhances the participants' digital skills and raises their efficiency in performing their job duties.
